Defense
The Tennessee Tech Defense Cyber Interest Group (DCIG) focuses on the defensive side of cybersecurity. We conduct lectures and hands-on training involving defensive measures ranging from firewall establishment, identifying security flaws, risk, and detection analysis, just to name a few. Our goal is to implement security measures to mitigate the possibility of a potential cyber-attack or breach.
When competition season comes around, we prepare, train, and select a group of individuals to compete against a number of schools in our region with the goal of nationals in mind. These competitions are a great opportunity to put your skills to the test while also having fun and making new friends along the way! We hope you take an interest in the blue team and pave a path for a better future.
