The Tennessee Tech Defense Cyber Interest Group (DCIG) focuses on the defensive side of cybersecurity. We conduct lectures and hands-on training involving defensive measures ranging from firewall establishment, identifying security flaws, risk, and detection analysis, just to name a few. Our goal is to implement security measures to mitigate the possibility of a potential cyber-attack or breach.

When competition season comes around, we prepare, train, and select a group of individuals to compete against a number of schools in our region with the goal of nationals in mind. These competitions are a great opportunity to put your skills to the test while also having fun and making new friends along the way!
