Welcome to the Women in Cyber Security (WiCyS) Student Chapter

WiCyS Student Chapter at Tennessee Tech is the 1st student chapter of the global WiCyS organization founded by Dr. Ambareen Siraj. More about the WiCyS organization can be found HERE 

The purpose of the WiCyS  student chapter is: 

• Encourage more women to participate in departmental activities 
• Increase awareness about the importance of security 
• Increase awareness about security careers and opportunities for female students 
• Present opportunities for informational sessions in both cyber offense and defense techniques and tools 
• Promote research in security 
• Help female members network with peers and security professional
